The Crossings by GrandStay in Pipestone was once again the recipient of awards during the 2015 BrandConference held at the La Grand Conference Center in Apple Valley, April 29, by GrandStay Hospitality, LLC, the franchisor for GrandStay Hotels and Crossings by GrandStay.The General Manager for the Pipestone property, Bridgette Shriver, accepted the awards on behalf of the hotel.
“We are extremely proud of the Pipestone location and all they accomplish each day to make the hotel feel like home to each and every guest that stays there,” said GrandStay Hospitality, LLC President, Jon Kennedy. “Their dedication to caring service which happens in Pipestone is what our brands stand for.”
The first award was the 2014 ‘Every Guest – Every Time Customer Service’ award, which recognizes consistent high scores in guest surveys and through the brand quality assurance evaluations. Sheila Sommers, owner of DS Property Management, said the Pipestone property has won this award ever year since opening.
“I said when I was first hired that I wanted to bring back the ‘small town nice’ and I believe I have accomplished that,” Sommers said.
The second award was the 2014 Crossings by GrandStay Web Hotel of the Year award, which honors the hotel with the best on-line presence within the brand. The award recognizes the efforts of the hotel owners and manager for their effective use of web information, attractions, promotions and active participation in social media.
The third award, the 2014 GrandStay Hotel Property of the Year, honors the most outstanding hotel within the brand and recognizes the efforts of the hotel owners, manager and staff for delivering the very best service,cleanliness and accommodations. The Pipestone property also received this award in 2011.
“It was quite an honor to be recognized as the most outstanding hotel within the brand,” Sommers said. “Bridgett and I are a great team and these awards would not have been possible without that teamwork.”
The conference theme, Grand Ideas, focused on the brand’s approach to operation efficiency and hotel success. Attendees included franchise owners, general managers and management company representatives along with key vendor partners.
