Eau Claire, Wisconsin is known for its large parks, which become venues for a variety of entertainment. With a great location off I-94, guests of our hotel can check what's happening at the band shell in Owen Park, or find out if there's an open air concert in Phoenix Park. The city has a strong musical tradition and hosts many local music festivals including Country Jam USA, Rock Fest, and Country Fest. Bob Seger wrote "Turn The Page" in a hotel room in the city - sadly not one of ours!

Leisure and outdoor activities abound.  Tee off at one of the city’s golf courses, explore Beaver Creek Nature Reserve, or take a tour of Leinenkugel Brewery in nearby Chippewa Falls.  Curling is a traditional Scottish winter sport that's been popular in Eau Claire, WI for over 50 years. An even older game called Kubb, also known as Viking chess, involves knocking over wooden blocks by throwing clubs at them. Eau Claire hosts the US National Kubb Tournament, the largest outside Sweden, and is globally ranked third after the world and Swedish championships.
