Situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Minnewaska, Glenwood has a wide range of outdoor attractions and sporting opportunities all year round. During the summer visitors can enjoy golfing, boating, fishing, & swimming at either one of Lake Minnewaska’s two public beaches. In winter, the lake opens up to ice fishing and snowmobilers take to the nearby trails.

Glenwood is also home to Waterama and Winterama, the largest community celebration of its kind in West Central Minnesota. Nearby Alexandria offers up even more unique area attractions making Glenwood the perfect family vacation, wedding, or fishing trip destination.

Minnewaska Golf Club features rolling terrain and a classic parkland design on it's 18 Hole Championship layout. From the back tees the course plays over 6500 yards and is always challenged by a breeze up on the hill. The green structures are quite small and are always fast, but true. The number one rule at MGC, keep it below the hole. A fun and exciting layout, with plenty of birdies available.

(3.8 miles) Pezhekee National Golf Course

Enjoy 18 holes of championship golf on a challenging and beautiful golf course. There are scenic views of Lake Minnewaska, woods, hills, ravines, prairie ponds, flowers and native grass areas. Friends, family and golf groups can enjoy playing on a secluded golf course in MN. The island green on hole #11 surrounded by the small lake is spectacular and memorable.

Rolling Forks Vineyards is located just south of Glenwood, MN overlooking beautiful Lake Minnewaska. We grow northern varieties of grapes that are hardy for the cold winter weather we have.
