GrandStay in Mount Horeb To Remain Open

The GrandStay® Hotel & Suites, Mount Horeb-Madison, announced today that they have made a commitment to remain open to serve the Mount Horeb and surrounding communities, even in recognition of the current Coronavirus crisis.

“Many of our past guests, neighbors and businesses have told us they still need our lodging services even in the face of the current healthcare crisis,” said Rachel LaCasse-Ford, General Manager of the Mount Horeb-based 60-room hotel. “We are taking the necessary precautions to sanitize our rooms and common spaces to protect our guests and employees.”

“Our hotel will be celebrating five years of service to our community this year and we want this to be five years of continuous service,” said Mike McNall, Chairman of the Board for the LLC ownership group. “We have many regular guests who rely on our hospitality and clean facility, so we will accommodate them.”

The GrandStay Hotel & Suites in Mount Horeb is owned by twenty Mount Horeb area residents, who five years ago recognized the need for upgraded local lodging and related services. Even though none had previous hotel experience, they formed an LLC and invested the equity necessary to build and operate a highly rated facility located on the eastern edge of Mount Horeb and Highway 18/151. Within 9 miles of Epic Systems in Verona, 11 miles of Vortex Optics in Barneveld and just down the road from Duluth Trading Company’s headquarters in Mount Horeb, these fast-growing companies have come to depend on the GrandStay for lodging and related services.

During its five years of operation, GrandStay has received outstanding ratings from all travel services. It has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor based on customer reviews every year of operation. It is a leader within the GrandStay brand, as well, earning brand-wide awards for customer service, sales and marketing, and hospitality leadership.

The GrandStay Hotel & Suites is a trusted partner in Mount Horeb and the surrounding communities, and even in the face our current circumstances, they look forward to another five years of dedication and success.
